Tom Green

Council Member Tom Green was born in South Dakota and has lived in Brighton, Colorado since 2013. He has two children.
Since 2019, Tom has served on the 27J School District Board and was elected Board President in 2024.
In November of 2022, Tom was elected to the Brighton Council representing Ward One. In addition to working to advance and improve the city on Council, he serves on the DIA Airport Coordinating Committee, Housing Authority Board (Alternate), E-470 Board, and North Area Transportation Alliance (NATA).
Tom works as a Key Accounts Advisor for United Power, a not-for-profit electric cooperative owned by the 110,000+ commercial, industrial and residential members who purchase electricity in its service territory. Tom has spent more than 30 years working in the cooperative utility business.
Tom believes strongly in actively participating in organizations that seek to improve and assist local communities including the boards of the Richard Lambert Foundation, Almost Home, Commerce City Rotary, Broomfield Chamber of Commerce, and the Adams County Board of Adjustment.
