Steven J. Douglas serves as the Mayor of Commerce City, Colorado, bringing a strong commitment to public service, regional collaboration, and community-centered leadership. As mayor, Douglas works to advance policies that strengthen public safety, infrastructure, economic development, and quality of life for residents across Commerce City and the greater metropolitan region.

Mayor Douglas actively represents Commerce City on numerous regional boards and committees that shape transportation, environmental policy, public safety, and intergovernmental cooperation. His service ensures that the interests of Commerce City residents are represented in key regional decisions that impact the city’s future.

In addition to his mayoral duties, Douglas also serves as a Director on the United Power Board representing the South District, contributing to the governance and strategic direction of one of Colorado’s largest electric cooperatives.
